Check and adjustment of the course of pedals of the working and parking brake Check

- Measure distance from the released brake pedal to a floor.
|
- If the measured size does not conform to requirements of Specifications of the Head Nastroyki and routine maintenance of the car, adjust height of raising of a pedal of a brake.
- Kill the engine and several times squeeze out a pedal of a working brake that in the vacuum amplifier there is no depression left.
- Press a pedal of a working brake a hand until feeling of resistance and measure the pedal course from this situation to the released situation.
- If the received size does not conform to requirements of Specifications of the Head Nastroyki and routine maintenance of the car, check a gap of D/V of stoplights. If this gap satisfactory, the reason is covered in the brake system.
- Release a pedal of a working brake and at the started engine squeeze out it with effort 490 N. Izmerta distance from a pedal to a floor.
- If the measured size does not conform to requirements of Specifications of the Head Nastroyki and routine maintenance of the car, check a condition of the brake system.
- Slowly squeeze out a pedal of the drive of the parking brake against the stop with effort of 249 N and count the number of clicks.
- If the number of clicks does not lie in the range from 5 to 7, adjust a pedal of the drive of the parking brake.

Adjustment of height of raising of a pedal of a brake
|
|
- Remove the lower left section of the dashboard (see the Head Kuzov).
- Separate the D/V socket of stoplights, give its lock-nut and remove the sensor. Give a lock-nut of a press rod.
- Adjust height of raising of a pedal of a brake, turning press a pedal rod then tighten its lock-nut with effort of 26 Nanometers.
- Establish D/V of stoplights and connect the socket of its electrical wiring.
- Squeeze out a pedal of a working brake on 5÷10 of mm and turn D/V of stoplights to block its nut in the provision of switching off of stoplights.
- Squeeze out a pedal of a working brake on 5÷10 of mm and make sure of inclusion of stoplights.
- After adjustment check a free wheeling of a pedal of a working brake and establish the lower left section of the dashboard.

Adjustment of a pedal of the drive of the parking brake
|
|
Before adjustment of the parking brake make sure that the gap of a boot of the parking brake is adjusted (see the Head the Brake system). The regulator of the parking brake is located under the bottom, on the left side. |

- Make sure that the pedal of the drive of the parking brake is released.
|
|

Record a screw coupler and give a lock-nut (A).
|
- Turning a screw coupler, adjust a pedal of the drive of the parking brake.
- Tighten a lock-nut (A) with effort of 5 Nanometers.
- Several times cock the parking brake and again check the pedal course.
- If it is not possible to make adjustment by means of a nut (A), use a nut (B).
- Make sure that the parking brake is not taken and To/L the parking brake works regularly.
