Removal, dismantling, check, assembly and installation of the oil pump and pallet of a case

Removal

Installation sites of the oil pump and the pallet of a case are specified illustrations the Components interfaced to the block of cylinders.

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove a windshield fairing (see the Head Kuzov).
  2. Remove the top strut of a motive compartment (9 on an illustration the Components which are subject to removal for access to the GRM drive) (see the Head Kuzov).
  3. Lower motive oil (see the Section Replacement of Motive Oil and Oil Filter).
  4. Remove a forward right wheel and a loker.
  5. Remove the generator (see the Head Sistemy of electric equipment of the engine).
  6. Remove the K/V compressor (see the Head of the Cooling system of the engine, heating, ventilation and air conditioning).
  7. Remove forward section No. 2 of an exhaust pipe (see Section 8 and No. 19 on an illustration the Components interfaced to the engine).
  8. Turn out two nuts and remove the catalytic converter.
  9. Take off a belt of the drive of the pump GUR and its tension plate (see the Head Podvesk and steering) and No. 3 on an illustration the Components which are subject to removal for access to the GRM drive).
  10. Shoot a belt of the GRM drive and its videos (see the Section Removal, check and installation of a belt of the GRM drive of its natyazhitel, pulley and cogwheel of a bent shaft, cogwheels of camshafts and intermediate rollers).
  11. Uncover GRM drive belt No. 3 (No. 10 on an illustration Components of installation of final collectors, sensors and an electrical wiring).
  12. Arm of the K/V compressor (No. 19 on an illustration the Components interfaced to the block of cylinders).
  13. Turn out 10 bolts and two nuts, accurately cut an edge laying between sections of the pallet of a case and remove the lower section of the pallet (No. 25 on an illustration the Components interfaced to the block of cylinders).
  14. Turn out a bolt and two nuts and remove a maslozabornik (No. 24 on an illustration the Components interfaced to the block of cylinders).
  15. Remove the lower cover of a cavity of a driving disk then turn out 19 bolts and remove the top section of the pallet of a case, if necessary having hooked it the screw-driver.

  1. Remove a maslootrazhatelny plate from the top section of the pallet.
  2. Remove the CKP sensor.
  1. Turn out 9 bolts of fastening of the oil pump (No. 16 on an illustration the Components interfaced to the block of cylinders) and remove it together with a sealing ring, if necessary having hooked from below the screw-driver.

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Turn out a stopper and remove a spring with the reducing valve.
  2. Turn out 10 screws and uncover the pump then take rotors.
  3. Oil the reducing valve motive and lower its adjusting opening – the valve has to fall to an opening under the weight. Otherwise replace assembly of the oil pump.
  4. Lay rotors in a pump housing tags up and check gap thickness between them and the top plane of an adjusting nest of rotors, and also between the conducted rotor and a wall of a nest. Compare results of measurements to requirements of Specifications of the Head Dvigatel and if necessary replace assembly of the oil pump.
  5. Measure a gap between rotors and compare it to requirements of Specifications of the Head Dvigatel. If necessary replace assembly of rotors.
  6. If necessary replace an epiploon of a bent shaft.
  7. Assembly of the oil pump is made upside-down. Tighten a stopper with effort of 49 Nanometers.

Installation

After putting sealant of a detail it is necessary to connect within no more than 3 minutes. Otherwise clean off old and apply new sealant.


 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Carefully clear of dirt and the remains of pro-masonry materials all being removed components.
  1. Apply on a flange of the oil pump the sealant roller (No. 08826-00080 according to the Toyota/Lexus catalog) 3 mm 2 ÷ thick.
  1. Lay a new sealing ring of the oil pump on the block of cylinders, enter into gearing the leading gear wheel of the pump with a bent shaft and pull the oil pump over a bent shaft. Tighten bolts of fastening of the oil pump with the required efforts.
  2. Install the CKP sensor and fix a maslootrazhatelny plate to the top section of the pallet of a case.
  1. Apply on the top section of the pallet of a case the sealant roller (No. 08826-00080 according to the Toyota/Lexus catalog) 5 mm 4 ÷ thick. Tighten bolts of fastening of the top section of the pallet of a case with the required efforts.
  1. Establish the lower cover of a cavity of a driving disk and a maslozabornik.
  1. Apply on the lower section of the pallet of a case the sealant roller (No. 08826-00080 according to the Toyota/Lexus catalog) 5 mm 4 ÷ thick. Tighten bolts and nuts of fastening of the lower section of the pallet of a case with the required effort.
  1. Install all being removed components in the sequence, the return to an order from dismantle. Tighten fixture with the required efforts.
  2. Fill motive oil, start the engine and check it for oil leak.
