Towage of the trailer

At towage of the trailer the term of operation of the car and its profitability since load of the components involved in torque transmission increases decreases (beginning from the engine and finishing with tires of wheels). In this regard towage of the trailer at a run is not allowed less than 800 km.

Observe requirements of Specifications of the Head Governing bodies and methods of operation to the most admissible mass of the towed trailer.

Before towage of the trailer make sure that it, as well as the car, conforms to requirements imposed by traffic regulations and the local legislation to the admission to operation of vehicles with the trailer. Use only the certified coupling devices which installation should be charged to skilled experts. Similar requirements are imposed also to connection of the brake system of the trailer.

During towage of the trailer choose the speed and other parameters of the movement proceeding from the mass of the trailer.

Load the trailer so that load of its coupling device made from 9 to 11% of trailer lump. Remember that the trailer increases the actual mass of the car, and do not allow excess of the most admissible mass of the car and the maximum load on an axis.
