Checks and adjustments of AT

Road checks

It is necessary to carry out road inspections at a temperature of ATF of 50 ÷ the 80th hail.

Check of the D mode

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Transfer the AT selector lever to situation "D" and completely squeeze out the accelerator pedal.
  2. Compare gear shifting speeds with 1 on O/D to requirements of Specifications of the Head Automatic transmission and interaxal differential.

Conditions of the ban of switching to O/D transfer: OZh temperature no more 60th hail., the car speed difference with the established speed of a tempostat makes 10 km/h; O/D transfer blocking ban conditions: the coupling pedal, OZh temperature no more 60th hail is squeezed out.

  1. Make sure of lack of unusual noise and vibrations at the movement in the blocked D mode or on O/D transfer.
  2. Make sure of lack of pushes and slippings when using kickdown function.
  3. Moving in the D mode on transfer of O/D with an invariable speed (when blocking) 60 km/h, slightly press the accelerator pedal and check that turns of the engine do not change sharply. The noticeable jump of turns of the engine indicates malfunction of blocking.

Check of the 2 mode

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Transfer the AT selector lever to situation "2" and completely squeeze out the accelerator pedal.
  2. Compare switching speed with 1 on the 2nd transfer to requirements of Specifications of the Head Automatic transmission and interaxal differential.

Switching to transfer of O/D is not provided in the 2 mode.

  1. Check braking by the engine, having released the accelerator pedal at the movement in the 2 mode on the 2nd transfer.
  2. Make sure of lack of unusual noise at acceleration and delay, and also of lack of pushes at gear shifting.

Check of the L mode

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Transfer the AT selector lever to situation "L" and completely squeeze out the accelerator pedal.
  2. Make sure that AT does not switch to the 2nd transfer.
  3. Check braking by the engine, having released the accelerator pedal at the movement in the L mode.
  4. Make sure of lack of unusual noise at acceleration and delay.

Check of the R and P modes

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Transfer the AT selector lever to situation "L" and completely squeeze out the accelerator pedal. Make sure available pro-slippings.

Before this check check that about the car there were no people and obstacles.

  1. Stop the car on a bias more 5th hail. and after switching in the P mode release the parking brake. Make sure of a car immovability.

Checks and adjustments of switching of the modes

Check and adjustment of draft of switching of the AT modes

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Interleaving of the lever of the selector of the AT modes from situation "N" in other provisions switching has to be carried out smoothly, and the indicator of the chosen mode has to coincide with the relevant provision of the lever. If it does not occur, adjust the drive of the choice of the AT modes as it is described below.
  1. Give a nut of fastening of draft of switching of the AT modes and carefully extend draft back.
  1. Establish tags on the lever of draft of switching of the AT modes in situation "N".
  1. Install the lever of the selector of the AT modes in situation "N" and holding it slightly inclined to situation "R", tighten a nut with effort of 13 Nanometers.
  2. Start the engine and make sure that the car moves forward at the choice of the D mode and back – at the choice of the R mode.

Adjustment of situation "P"/" N"

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Weaken bolts of fastening of the sensor of situation "P"/" N" and transfer the selector lever to situation "N".
  1. Level a groove with the line of a neutral.

Adjustment of situation "P"/" N"

  1. Holding D/V in this situation, tighten bolts of its fastening with effort of 5.4 Nanometers.

Switching blocking check

Components of management of switching blocking

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Measure tension between contacts of the module of blocking of switching and compare the received values to the table.

Do not separate the electrical wiring socket.


  1. Separate the socket Ý/m the valve of blocking of the ignition key and measure resistance between its contacts. If the measured value does not lie in the range of 12.5 ÷ 16.5 Ohms, replace Ý/m the valve.
  1. Apply to contacts Ý/m the valve of blocking of the ignition key tension of the battery and make sure available noise from the valve. Otherwise replace Ý/m the valve.

Other checks

So-called "Stall-test", check of time of a delay of switching and check of pressure in the AT hydraulic lines belong to other checks of AT. Data for conducting checks are provided in Specifications of the Head Automatic transmission and interaxal differential.
